11. WHAT IS YOUR MONTHLY RATE? AND HOW OFTEN DO YOU COME?
Our service rate is based on the amount of time we spend at your pool. The average pool service is between $135.42 (15 to 25 minutes) and $189.50. Our rates are all inclusive regarding basic chemicals, phosphate removers, stain inhibitors, and salt to your pool where applicable.
22. CAN I GET A DISCOUNT IF I GO ON AUTO PAY?
Yes, our office can set you up for discounts based on auto pay and client referrals.
33. WHAT DAY OF THE WEEK WILL YOU GUYS SERVICE MY HOUSE?
Our routes are set up geographically. Kona Palisades areas are on Mondays Nani Kailua, and Pukalani Estate areas are on Tuesdays. LAKO St. (upper and lower) Kahakai Estates, Kealakekua Bay and South Kona, on Wednesdays, Keauhou mauka and makai as well as Alii Dr. services take place on Thursdays and Fridays.
44. DO YOU GUYS DO YOUR OWN REPAIRS?
Yes. Separate from our service vehicles, we have a dedicated repair technician that is poised to take on any mechanical issues we or you may encounter with your home's pool and or associated equipment. Having a dedicated repair vehicle, separate from our service route personnel, allows us to respond quickly to your needs. We can update - upgrade - your pools HEATERS, SALT SYSTEMS, CHLORINATING SYSTEMS, PHONE APP COMMUNICATIONS, POOL PUMPS, FILTERS, AND HOT WATER SOLAR SYSTEM FOR YOUR POOL.
55. DO YOU SERVICE ON HOLIDAYS? IF NOT WHEN WILL YOU MAKE UP THE SERVICE.
Family is very important us. We are family owned/operated and want our employees to enjoy paid Holliday leave to be with their families! Because of this we take off all major holidays, CHRISTMAS EVE (AND DAY), NEW YEARS DAY, EASTER, VETERANS DAY THANKSGIVING DAY, MEMORIAL DAY 4TH OF JULY, AND LABOR DAY. If your pool has any issues requiring our immediate attention your service will be made up immediately after the holidays.
66. DO YOU DO SWIMMING POOL INSPECTIONS?
Yes, in fact, we offer the most comprehensive report/inspections on the island. Our in-depth look at your swimming pool and associated equipment offers a 5 to 10 page (electronic or hardcopy) report complimented with full-color pictures that illustrate the issues found with the equipment or feature. As a prospective buyer OR seller you will be given the options available to your family about how to correct those issues accompanied by the associated costs.
77. WHAT SETS POOLBRITE APART AND AHEAD OF OUR COLLEAGUES?
We are staffed for economy of motion and have the infrastructure to support you needs as we grow. If you have an emergency, you don't have to wait for us to complete our service routes. We are staffed to respond immediately. The owner of the company, Chris Yeaton, won't be at your property every week. HOWEVER, every day of every week he is personally receiving photos of pools chemistry test, equipment malfunctions and or general items of interest from each team member electronically. Those photographs are reviewed and critiqued daily by the owner and stored on our cloud-based photo journal. We keep a photo journal of your pools condition, chemistry, and billable repairs. Those records are for your review at will. This is similar to keeping all the papers for your automobile in a file just in case! Except, we do it for you. No personal information like your address and or geo tags are included with those photos. We also have a dedicated office staff that keeps up with your billing needs and or questions. OWNER INVOLVEMENT, If you have questions or concerns about what's happening at your home's swimming pool Chris's sole purpose in the business is to be available for your questions and meet with you at your request. COMPANY MEETINGS, We see each other almost every day but meet collectively twice a month, for two to three hours so that we can discuss our findings from the previous months services at our clients home. We talk about the new technologies available to us and you as a consumer as well as service related issues that we encounter regularly.
88. ARE YOUR PRICES COMPETITIVE WITH ONLINE STORES?
In some cases yes and in other examples no. Most online stores can offer savings beyond what you get from your service provider whether it is us or someone else caring for your pool. For basic needs your online choices will generally save you money. For more crucial purchases like upgrading your circulation pump to the extremely popular VARIABLE SPEED MONEY SAVER PUMPS you will see prices around $1,000 for these pumps online while your service provider offers them for between $1500.00 and in some cases $2,000.00 (which by the way should in most cases include the cost of the installation and associated plumbing. The reason your able to find items like these online at reduced rates is because very large companies will buy in bulk and be able offer you, the consumer, an excellent rate which at times will include the cost of shipping. What the online stores don't do, at least for the time being, is offer you an ON ISLAND WARRENTY. If what your about to buy has a lot of moving parts, is electronically sophisticated and has to be installed professionally.....beware. Everything mechanical has a failure rate statistic. We have certainly seen our fair share of these failures. If your online purchased variable speed pump fails, you will have to pay to have it removed, and shipped back to the retailer. Then you will pay to have it installed a second time. Unless your able to do the installation yourself figure on getting charged 85.00 per hour for approximately 2 to 3 hours plus plumbing material. (depending on the circumstance) Figure about 300.00 to install it. The question to ask yourself before you tap the "BUY NOW" button; is saving 300.00 to 500.00 worth not having an on island rep covering your purchase?
