Chris Yeaton, was born in Oahu and raised here in Kona. He began this business in approximately 2004.
Prior to working full time in the business he worked as an in-home health care provider as well as working as a boat captain locally and in the San Francisco Bay for many years. His lovely wife Karla became a partner in the LLC in 2015 and they have two children; Maddy and Noah. Their hobbies include much time on the beach, quad riding, movie nights and guitar playing.

In addition to being a partner in the Poobrite LLC, Karla Yeaton holds a Masters Degree in Counseling and is Certified Nutritional Consultant, as well as Certified Personal Trainer.

Grew up in Northern Idaho in the small town of Coeur d’ Alene. I first made it out to the Big Island in 1998 to attend college at UH Hilo and graduated in 2003 with a degree in Marine Biology.
After working for the Forest Service l later went back to school and earned a certificate in Aquarium Science. After graduating, my first job was at the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport, Oregon as an aquarist, where I took care of fish in the aquarium.
From Newport, my wife and I moved up to Tacoma Washington, where I worked as an aquarist at the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium. When my wife and I got married in Kona in 2012 we decided we needed to move here. In October of 2013, we packed up, left our jobs and moved to Kona.
Since moving here we have been blessed with a baby boy and along with working for Chris we also have our own business taking care of ponds.
